Athens-Hocking Reclamation Center is a privately owned landfill.  Kilbarger Construction operates this landfill which is located in the beautiful scenic hills of Hocking County.  Athens-Hocking is a Title D licensed facility that services clients in Kentucky, Pennslyvania, Wext Virginia and the Southeastern counties of Ohio. The Landfill is operated by certified professionals.  It is a Municipal Solid Waste Landfill as well as a Construction Demolition Landfill.  We are periodically inspected, licensed by the State of Ohio (facility # 05-00-06) and have permits for demolition materials (Permit #0605000006/F004) and asbestos (Asbestos Permit #0605000006/F005).  

We are open to the public and accept Appliances, Box Springs/Mattresses, Tires and other household items.  The Landfill is open Monday thru Friday from 7am to 4pm and Saturday from 7am to 12 noon.  The Landfill is located at 17970 State Route 33,  Nelsonville, Ohio.  If you have any question, please call 740-753-4964 or 740-385-3264.
